RidgeMonkey Outdoors Product Guarantee

At RidgeMonkey Outdoors, we want you to have confidence in the quality and performance of our products. In addition to your statutory rights, we provide the following manufacturer's guarantee on eligible RidgeMonkey Outdoors products.

Guarantee period

RidgeMonkey Outdoors products are covered by a 24-month manufacturer's guarantee from the date of purchase.

RidgeMonkey clothing and footwear are covered by a 6-month manufacturer's guarantee from the date of purchase.

The guarantee period begins on the date of purchase shown on the proof of purchase.

What is covered

This guarantee covers RidgeMonkey Outdoors products that develop a fault due to a manufacturing defect or defect in materials during the applicable guarantee period.

Where a valid guarantee claim is accepted, RidgeMonkey Outdoors or the relevant retailer may, as appropriate, repair the product, replace it with the same or an equivalent product, or provide another appropriate remedy.

The remedy provided will depend on the nature of the fault and the circumstances of the claim.

What is not covered

This manufacturer's guarantee does not cover faults or damage resulting from:

• accidental damage or misuse;

• improper use, handling, storage or care;

• alterations or modifications not authorised by RidgeMonkey Outdoors;

• damage caused by attempts to repair or modify the product;

• cosmetic damage that does not affect the product's functionality;

• normal wear and tear;

• rips, dents, scratches or other damage caused through use;

• failure to follow applicable care, operating or safety instructions; or

• use of the product in a manner for which it was not designed.

These exclusions apply only to this manufacturer's guarantee and do not limit any statutory rights you may have.

Commercial use

Unless RidgeMonkey Outdoors has expressly stated otherwise for a particular product, this manufacturer's guarantee is intended for products purchased for personal, non-commercial use.

Where a product has been used commercially, any manufacturer's guarantee claim will be assessed in accordance with the applicable product terms and the circumstances of the claim.

Nothing in this section affects any statutory rights that may apply.

Who can make a guarantee claim?

This manufacturer's guarantee applies to the original purchaser of a new RidgeMonkey Outdoors product purchased from an authorised RidgeMonkey Outdoors retailer or stockist.

The guarantee is not intended to apply to products purchased second-hand.

Where a product has been given as a gift, the original proof of purchase may be required to establish the date and place of purchase.

How to make a claim

Your first point of contact for a manufacturer's guarantee claim should normally be the retailer from whom you purchased the product.

Please contact the retailer and provide:

• proof of purchase;

• details of the product;

• a description of the fault; and

• photographs or other information about the issue where requested.

The retailer may need to inspect the product before determining whether the issue is covered by this manufacturer's guarantee.

Proof of purchase

We may require reasonable evidence of purchase to establish eligibility under this manufacturer's guarantee. This may include a receipt, order confirmation, invoice or other appropriate proof of purchase.

We recommend retaining your proof of purchase for the duration of the guarantee period.

Your statutory rights

This manufacturer's guarantee is provided in addition to, and does not replace or limit, your statutory rights.

If you are a consumer in the UK, you may have rights against the retailer under applicable consumer legislation where goods are faulty, not as described, or do not meet the required legal standards. These rights apply independently of this manufacturer's guarantee and may, depending on the circumstances, continue beyond the guarantee period.

Nothing in this guarantee is intended to exclude, restrict or otherwise affect any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.

If you are located outside the UK, your statutory rights may differ. RidgeMonkey Outdoors will comply with applicable mandatory consumer protection laws in the country where the product was purchased.

Territorial scope

This manufacturer's guarantee applies to products purchased from an authorised RidgeMonkey Outdoors retailer or stockist within the territory in which the guarantee is offered.

Where local consumer protection laws provide rights that are more favourable or otherwise different from the terms of this manufacturer's guarantee, those mandatory rights will continue to apply.

Changes to this guarantee

RidgeMonkey Outdoors may update this manufacturer's guarantee from time to time. Any changes will not affect rights that have already accrued under an applicable guarantee or under mandatory consumer protection legislation.
