We’re seeking a highly creative, detail-oriented Social Media Content Creator with a strong interest in the outdoor lifestyle space. This role focuses on creating short-form social media content that highlights our products in real-world outdoor settings.

You’ll be confident using DSLR, action cameras and smartphones, with strong editing skills and a solid understanding of social media formats and best practices. You’ll work closely with key members of the RidgeMonkey Outdoors team, capturing product-led and lifestyle content across a range of locations. The role requires someone who is self-managed, organised and happy to travel regularly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create engaging short-form content for platforms including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Shorts and TikTok

• Capture high-quality photo and video content using DSLR, action cameras and smartphones

• Edit content into polished, platform-ready assets

• Work closely with the creative and marketing teams to plan and deliver content

• Showcase RidgeMonkey Outdoors products in real-world outdoor environments

• Stay up to date with social media trends, formats and platform updates

• Manage shoots independently while meeting deadlines

• Travel to locations for content capture, events and product launches

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Social Media Content Creator or similar role

• Strong skills using DSLR, action cameras and smartphones

• Confident video and photo editing skills (Adobe Premiere Pro or equivalent)

• Clear understanding of short-form social media content and best practices

• Highly creative with a strong eye for detail

• Ability to work independently and self-manage projects

• Interest or experience in the outdoor lifestyle market

• Willingness to travel regularly and work flexibly

• Full UK driving licence and own transport

• Reliable home broadband access
